Course Description:
This course introduces students to web page authoring and web site administration using Microsoft FrontPage. Students will learn how to create and enhance web pages with links, graphics, tables and frames. Students will also learn how to publish their web site, and manage and administer that site with FrontPage. This course is designed for students who are interested in an Information Technology career in web site design or administration, and e-commerce; This course will also prepare students for taking the Microsoft Office User Specialist examiniation for Microsoft FrontPage Core level.
Prerequisite:
None, although basic knowledge of using desktop computers is very helpful how to use a mouse(right click, single click, double click), how to use a keyboard, creating folders, saving files, etc.

May be taken as Credit/No-Credit.
Objectives:
Course Grading
Succesful completion of all 6 FrontPage tutorials (25%): You will be posting your projects to the cis.msjc.edu Web server. Your instructor will evaluate your finished project as to how well your page(s) match the key elements being demonstrated for each of the projects in your textbook. You will receive: Credit, Partial Credit, or No Credit based on your results.

Project Quizzes (25%): Project quizzes will be taken in class using the my.msjc.edu Blackboard system. They will consist of 20 true/false and multiple choice questions. You will be able to view your running scores online. Skills-Based Final Exam (25%): You will be given a web site project to be completed and posted within the scheduled class time. Final Exam (25%): The Final exam is comprehensive. The Final exam will include 50 True/False and multiple choice questions. Test will be administered on the Blackboard system.
